Provide the slide, Surf equipment collection campaign – March 20th-31st 2023
Once again Alaïa Bay will collaborate with the Swiss NGO, Provide the Slide! It’s your chance to take your unused boards out of your cellar & give them a second life!
The first collection campaign will run from March 20th until the 31st of March. How does it work? Super simple; you can drop your material (boards, bags, leashs, fins) at the surf school, just announce it at the desk and one of our staff will take care of your material. Everyone donating some material to Provide the Slide will automatically enter a prize draw with the possibility to win a surf session, Alaïa Alpine Alternative t-shirts and lots more 😊The winners will be announced on March 31st at our Movie & Auction night. Last year, the Alaïa community managed to collect 42 boards, can we do better this year ? Let’s do it!
Who is Provide the Slide?
The swiss NGO Provide the Slide opens new perspectives for young people on the West African coast with surf equipment. In Switzerland, Germany,Austria and Spain surfboards and equipment that are no longer needed are collected free of charge. Completed and repaired, the equipment goes to partner communities of African surfers where it creates new perspectives,and possibilities of making an income.
