LONGEST SURF DAYS – JUNE 18 & 19 2022
Alaïa Bay invites you to the 2nd edition of the “LONGEST SURF DAYS”. Organised in the form of a mini surf festival over 2 days, come and discover surf culture in all its forms during this weekend.
Surfing will of course be at the heart of the event with sessions from sunrise to late at night. Themed sessions await surfing fans: Girls Sessions by ROXY, Surfing with the pros by Quiksilver, Pilates & Surfing at sunrise, special sessions reserved for Stand Up Paddle, Longboard and Bodyboard. In the evening, surfing demonstrations by the surfing pros will get the crowd going just before the highlight of the show with a big light show.
Party & food
But the party would not be complete without a great evening!
On Saturday evening, a “Garden BBQ Dinner” will be held in the Surfer’s Lounge located west of the pool in the grassy area. An all-you-can-eat buffet menu will be served with all kinds of grilled meats, grilled vegetables, seasonal salads, and other side dishes. A small live acoustic concert will accompany the gourmets during the evening. From 9 pm onwards, the “Longest Surf Party” will start with DJ Bazooka and DJ Ronfa who will take turns to keep the night owls dancing until the end of the night.
On Sunday, after the craziness of the previous day, visitors will be able to settle their stomachs by enjoying the “Sunday Surf Brunch” in this special area. A chill atmosphere will be provided by DJ Vinz and his vinyls.
Surf Village
Saturday & Sunday from 9am to 6pm
The big news this year is the “Surf Village” which will be set up just in front of Alaïa Bay on the Domaine des Iles and will be completely free to the public. This place will allow you to immerse yourself in the world of surfing. Initiations in various sports will be offered: skateboarding by the Alaïa Chalet team, skimboarding by Alaïa Wake Surf and Mastercraft or Stand Up Paddle by the SUP Sion club and the Indiana brand. Illustrators, photographers and board shapers, most of them Swiss, will share their passion for this sport and lifestyle. The Association Romande de Surf will offer a surf equipment exchange sale to give a second life to boards. Children will be able to go up in the air on the inflatable structures of our partner “Crans-Montana”.

Alaïa Surf Battle
The registration fee (CHF 50.-) includes minutes of surfing in the pool, a souvenir lycra and a goodie bag. Each participant must have his own equipment (board, leash, wetsuit). If necessary, some of the equipment can be rented from the surf school in Alaïa Bay.
The conditions of participation are as follows: to have a minimum level of EXPERT (in case of doubt, a video may be asked to the participant to confirm his level) and to be in perfect health during the event.
