Our biggest, thickest and heaviest barreling waves called The Beast, including Beast Plus when it’s offshore. Thrilling and addictive slab that will put to test even the best tube riders. The ultimate wave to challenge yourself. You know what a real wipeout feels like, get ready for some of those as you try to tame the beasts.
WHAT’S A BEAST SESSION ?
The ultimate slab for expert surfers who have mastered the tube riding fundamentals. You understand surfing etiquette and can comfortably ride waves above 2.0m. You should be able to paddle, duckdive, take-off, generate speed, perform turns, and negotiate thick, slabbing barrel sections.

WHAT WILL MY SESSION LOOK LIKE?
Arrive at Alaïa Bay an hour before the session. Check in at the main reception with a member of the Alaïa Bay team.
Access the changing rooms and attend a safety briefing if it is your first session with us.
Pool access for one hour. You will have five minutes to get into position before starting 55 minutes of non-stop surfing.

FACILITIES
For Beast sessions, you will have access to the pool for 55 minutes. When you arrive at reception, you will be given a bracelet that provides access to the changing rooms and the pool. Our changing rooms are equipped with lockers to store your belongings and showers where you can freshen up after your session.
THE WAVES
Beast session waves are the biggest and most technical ones created at home. Big of 2m and thick in the form of Barrels!
NEED EQUIPMENT?
Do you need some equipment for your session? Wetsuit, boards and protection – you will find everything you need to rent at our Surf School or in our Surf Shop for sale.
NIGHT SURF
The pool is accessible seven days a week. You can surf during the day or at night, depending on the session times.
